Why the abuse telling me and my baby to die for asking this question?
Are dummy clips safe? I have seen the dummy clips with and without beads being sold on ebay and facebook etc and Ive just done a google search to see if there safe and a few articles that say they pose choking hazards but not many. The dummies with the diamantes on I have seen are now banned from being sold here in the UK due to choking hazards so why havent dummy clips yet?. All my friends use the dummy clips and I think they look nice but I wont be using something that isnt safe for my baby however pretty it looks. What are your views on this? Thanks for all sensible answers xA link to one article I found nelincs.gov.uk news 2011 may I am not using something which is not deemed safe as stated so why the sick comments saying my baby should get cancer and die with loads of thumbs up? Its seriously pathetic, what I have I said here that deserves these comments? Tell me about it I had 5 answers all telling me sick things about me and my baby dying. They have disappeared now so must have been reported. I am proud of myself for searching to see how safe these clips were and realising there not safe at all. Everyone I know who has a baby uses them and I for one wont be after reading the articles stating there not safe. Im just wondering what everyone elses opinions were on here.

I dont want people holding my baby or taking pictures?
Ok, so I'm about to have my baby and I have this whole grudge towards my husbands family. My mother in law is absolutely the worst. She Cuts me down just because her son my husband doesn't talk to her. She tries doing whatever she can so will get a divorce. Now the thing is my husband hates her because of the way she treats me and the fact she treats him just as bad. For example She calls him a mistake and says he ruined her life because she got pregnant at 17. Then theres my father in law who is alright. He's separated from his wife so they come in a separate package. The thing is he likes to cut me down even more except this is his way of " Joking" . He'll tell me my husband is going to cheat on me, hell tell me I'm ugly, fat, etc... I honestly hate these people. I'm lucky enough to live 3000 miles from them and although the mother in law wont come around I know the father in law will once the babies born. I'm fine with him holding the baby once in a while, that's not a problem, but I know for a fact when I ask for the baby he wont give me her. Not to mention he knows both my husband and dont talk to my husbands mother but he'll send her a bunch of pictures of the baby which we dont want. He doesnt even like the lady but he does it just to get on our nerves. We just want her out of our life. I know for a fact if she gets pictures she'll put them on her facebook and act like she's raising the baby. She did that with my husband. I supported him since he was 16 I was the same age and she took all the credit when they didn't even talk. I'm just so frustrated and am not sure what to do. I feel if he has to send a picture since the man is uncontrollable then I should be in the picture just to bug the women.

My baby won't settle with anyone else. ?
I have a georgeous little 4 month old boy and he is my world so please dont think im a bad mum. I've not been out since he was born and only left him with my parents when I've gone food shopping, the thing is I feel like I need a bit of a break but he won't seem to settle with anyone else the last few nights I've had to get out of the bath because he's crying for his daddy although this doesn't bother him I can't listen to him crying as soon as I hold him he falls asleep and stops crying. The last couple of times mums had him he's done the same so I've come home. Any advice please.

My baby does not feed from a bottel and i want to start him on solids early?
My baby is 12 weeks old.. I used to give him formula once or twice a day and the rest is breastfeeding. He would feed from a bottel just fine but all of a sudden at the age of 3 weeks he refused the bottel and would cry hysterically if i offer him a bottel. I tried changing the bottel and nothing would work. I also tried asking others to try and feed him through a bottel and yet he wouldnt take it. Whats in the bottel is not the problem since i tried offering him my expressed milk ans yet he wouldnt take it.. One of my friends suggested tgat i add sugar to the milk but i wouldnt dare do that. Any idea that could help here? Keeping in mind that i do not want to wean my baby yet but it would be more comfortable for me if he would take both a bottel and my breasts.Moreover, im really thinking of starting him on solids at 4 but my son's doctor says 4 is too early and recommends 6. Should i ignore tge doctors advice and start at 4?

My bf wants a baby????
ok well myself and my bf have been together for a year and a bit hes 25, 26 in two weeks and im 26........we have spoke a lot about speanding our life together and getting married ect and i genuinely think we will. His sister is getting married this year and she has two children of her own but younger than my bf. He says he wants a family like that all the time but i didnt think he meant now. I am broody myself but i no we are not ready to have a kid as A we both still live with our parents sad i no but im at university and cant afford it my bf works but it is not particulary good money. B we arent even engaged or married C we dont have any good saving to bring a baby into the world. My bf said today he wants a baby and i have said i dont think we are ready at all......he kept coming back with we have time to plan and do all that stuff......what do i do i no im not getting any younger, but im sure we are not ready any advice please thanks?i agree with all of you thanks

Breastfeeding help - baby crying at breast?
My baby is 5 1 2 weeks old and the last three days she has been having issues eating. I had a rough start with breastfeeding even though she was doing good with it , missed diagnosed breast infection that turned into mrsa staph infection that finally was able to clear up after 4 weeks with 4 different antibiotics. after that cleared up everything was going great for us, but the last three days she will eat real good for about 15 20 minutes and then just start crying uncontrollably. it then takes about 30 minutes to get her to calm down and once she does she just falls asleep because she exhausted herself. I know 15 20 minutes can be normal amount of time for a baby to get enough to eat but my baby usually takes an hour to eat, sometimes even longer. And if i try to relatch her she will just scream more and if i wait until she calms down completely she will still scream and it starts all over again. any help or advice will be much appreciated, i feel like such a bad mom when it happens i don't know what to doOh and it only happens through out the day, she is fine in the middle of the night. she will eat and go right back to sleep no problem. also she still has been having plenty of wet diapers. i've only been feeding her on one side per feed lately because she hasn't been emptying out my breasts efficientlyI havent been trying to re latch her lately because i know it just makes her more upset, but if she is finished feeding why would she finish by screaming? she used to just fall off and act satisfied or go to sleep peacefully

Do you think he's ready for another baby?
My boyfriend has a son from a previous relationship but he has sole custody because his ex gave up her parental rights. We are currently living together and we've had sex. When he's spending quality time with his son, its great to see how happy and engaged he is with him. My boyfriend is a musician and plays the keyboard and when he's rehearsing for his club shows that he does, he'll let Ezariah his son play along with him. He's sit him up on his lap and Ezariah will throw his head back and go " No No No" and its just something he loves to do with his son. When we are with his family, his sister has three kids and his brother has two. So he gets depressed and after we've been with his family for a while, we go home and he can't get out of the baby depression phase. He loves being around them and spending time with them, but when its time to leave, he goes into baby depression mode and I can't snap him out of it. We've talked about having a baby together but with his schedule and mine, we have no time to pencil in " Baby Making day 1, Baby Making Day 2 and so on" So do you think he's ready for another baby? t1m32r1d3 Ezariah is 1. He works as a musician and I'm a stay at home parent who takes care of Ezariah. I know I'm ready but I don't know about him.

Thank you guys for your answers. I recently married and my spouse and I are planning to have another baby In 2009 I have the Essure Procedure done maybe that's where the dream comes from but I pray that God will answer my prayers and I'm able to conceive and delivery a healthy baby.
