How many people would use an anti tipping device for their pushchairs?
People who load shopping or excess weight to the handle bars of pushchairs have the risk of it tipping backwards which in turn could damage the pushchair or harm the child within it. If there was a device to prevent this from happening not counterweights , would it be purchased?

Can anyone give me any advice on tandem pushchairs for newborn twins?
We're expecting twin girls in January, and I really don't want to get a side by side pushchair, I'd much rather a tandem, but I'm finding it difficult to find one that is suitable for both babies from birth. Has anyone got any experiences they can share? These are my first babies, so I'm pretty clueless I live in the UK if that helps. Thanks in advance.

At what age does it become innappropriate to have a child in a parent facing pushchair?
6 months?1 year?2 years?or is it ok to have them in parent facing until they are out of pushchairs?opinions please?i feel very offended that maritime mummy would say i obviously do not have kids. let me clear one thing up, when i want advice about serious issues to do with my son, i consult proffesionals, dr, health visitor, specialists in whatever field is relevant. when i want opinions from other mummies outside of my social circle about little or fun things or myself and a friend are having a debate about what common opinion is, i come to yahoo answers.

Carry a 6 month ok'd in marks or pushchair? Is it a health and safety issue?
Do we carry babies in pushchair for safety or convenience? Do u think I can carry my six month old in my arms in a mall or Market or should I put him in a pushchair? Please don't think I'm silly I feel it's safe to keep them in pushchair in lyvlic places for safety, just want to compare views.I am visiting india where people tend to carry babies in their arms and I'm stressing as to how can I say no to others without sounding rude to keep my baby safe at all times. Ps others referred here are my family and friends who live there Thanks Please be polite and if you can't add positively it's better not up give your view, thanks again x

Soon To Be First Time Dad Needs Advice On A Pram/Pushchair/Buggy/WhatEverElseTheyDo!?
Hello. I'm a 29 year old male living with my partner of four years and we are expecting our first in two months Amongst many many other questions, this one is about seeking advice from parents and people in the know on what type, make, model of pram type thing I'm going to need for a new born After months of worrying and wondering about the up and coming months I've finally started looking at prams and I'm whey out of my depth. I can rebuild an engine blindfolded but you put me in the Baby section of Asda and I crumble Any pro's and cons of what I should be looking for and what you guys have would be helpful. I think I'm after something like a Pliko Pramette like mamasandpapas.com product pliko pramette couture black 185717901 type i however don't really know why for sure. I need something solid, practical and fashionable sadly in my later " young" years that sort of thing does play a part S Do I want one where the baby seat can just be dropped in? I'm very keen on the idea of taking the baby out of the car in it's seat asleep and just clipping it to the pram and jobs'a'gooden. Baby still asleep and it only takes seconds... naive or what LOL are there any downsides to these prams that use a baby seat as part of the pram design?I'm sure there is a lot more I could ask but for now, hits and tips about everything related and some suggestions of the best one would be a godsend. Thanks in advance for any thoughts as it would appear I can't reply to individual people Regards.

Does anyone have the iCandy Strawberry Pushchair?
Has now been launched in UK but due to high demands its only available on pre order. I am more than a little fussy when it comes to prams and the only ones I liked so far is the iCandy Peach and Stokke Xplory but due to their complications taking everything apart when folding flat I don't think I will be able to manage them with the a small car boot, a baby on top of that and living on second floor with no lifts so it's a big problem for me. The retailer recommended I should get the new iCandy strawberry as it has one hand STEP AND STAND FOLD and can be folded flat with the seat on etc but there seems to be no reviews on this pram and no shops seems to have them on display for a little try as all seems to be sold out but all keen to take a pre orders I have ten weeks left until my due date 1 1 2012 and I need to decide quickly plus the retailer where I want to purchase from said last order batch will be end of October and delivery will be some time in January. Please please please help if you have it or if you know someone...a friend or a family member who does....and what's their views and can you honestly recommend this stroller? Is it a lightweight that can be folded easily, ideally with one hand, and is light to carry and what is like on public transport? Will it fit in the Yaris 1.3 5dr car boot easily when collapsed and leave me enough space to get my shopping in? Are they sturdy and suitable for newborn babies? They are very pricey and I don't want to buy something and be stuck with it that will be no use to me Thanks all in advance
